John Fletcher- Prayer Team Leader

John is the Prayer Team Leader here at JAM. Having felt led by the Lord, he moved to Waynesboro with his family a little over a year ago to serve in this community. Every Sunday, he makes sure your prayer requests are prayed over. Then he gets them out to his team so they are prayed over by everyone all week. Prayer is special to him, because it allows us to worship and praise the Lord. It also allows us to offer confession of our sins, which should lead to our genuine repentance. Moreover, prayer grants us the opportunity to present our requests to God. All of these aspects of prayer involve communication with our Creator. He is personal, cares for us, and wants to commune with us through prayer. He likes to encourage and help people find this aspect of their relationship with God. He has been married to his wife, Brittney who also serves on the prayer team with him, for ten years. Together, they have a 13-year-old son named Conner. You can also find the whole Fletcher family attending and volunteering in the Area 51 Youth Group frequently.  One of John's favorite verses about prayer is, "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." 1 John 5:14-15.
